Project Manager – Role Description
Location: Based in Antananarivo, with some travels to project sites around Madagascar
Timeframe: 12 months renewable
Contract: full-time voluntary job (Mondays to Fridays, except while in the field)Salary: Modest monthly allowances
Duties:
General management
Assist in developing the strategies of the Organization and provide strategic advice for all designed projects
Oversee all projects with joint collaboration with Coordinators, Monitoring & evaluation activities
Weekly and monthly reporting, project development
Marketing and communication : website, social media, newsletter
Coordinate and lead fundraising activities
Collaborations/external relationships : with national & international NGOs
Represent Impact Madagascar nationally and internationally
Preparing reports intended for publication in scientific journals in collaboration with project Coordinators and the Conservation Officer
Aid in document translation and proof-reading
Project management
Specific tasks related to project management will be dependent upon the requirements of the project, and will be shared with the Coordinators
General responsibilities will include:
Designing data collection methodology and analysis techniques
Overseeing fieldwork activities
Statistical analysis of data and technical reporting
Provide recommendations, instructions as required
Attending stakeholder meetings
Dissemination of results on a local, national, and international scale.
Holiday
Annual leave is 30 days per year excluding public holidays, along with 5 personal sick days per year. Additional annual leave will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
