In order to raise awareness about these important reptiles we are holding an art contest for World Turtle Day—and we would love for you to share your best original artwork of turtles! This could be drawings or paintings, sketches, or collages, etc. (however, photographs will not be accepted for this contest). It can be of any kind of turtle or tortoise, but even better if you know the species name and where it comes from!

Winners will get some cool prizes to show their participation and dedication to biodiversity and conservation!

We are so excited to see the beautiful artwork you create! Every entry helps turtle conservation because you are taking part in sharing knowledge and facts about these threatened animals.

how to enter:

  1. Create an original piece of artwork of a turtle or tortoise.

  2. Email a clear photograph, scan, or digital image of your artwork to media.impact.mada@gmail.com. Be sure to include your name, your age, and where you’re from!

  3. A turtle expert and an artist will look at all the submissions and will pre-select 7 to 10 finalists.

  4. We will post the finalists to our social media accounts. The public will then vote on the winners! We will open a voting page and voting will be open to everyone.

  5. The top 3 pieces of art with the most votes will be awarded with prizes!
